We are still actively fundraising to have the roof of the SOUTHERN INYO MUSEUM replaced and I am happy to report that many people have been very generous with donations; however, costs of labor and materials continue to rise and we have had to adjust our money goals from $5k to $10k.
Inyo County has generously offered to
partner with us and will at LEAST match whatever we are able to raise.
Also, our Board is having discussions with the county about taking ownership of the building and the land that it sits on, once the repairs are complete. I will provide updates as we continue to make progress toward preserving our little museum.
For anyone wishing to donate, there is a GOFUNDME account and Ill leave a link at the bottom on the next page.
We also have a PAYPAL account, and
we can accept cash or checks.
Please make checks out to
THE NEW COSO HERITAGE SOCIETY.
